The opening of the 3rd cohort of the Leadership Program.

We are excited to announce the opening of the 3rd cohort of the Leadership Program, the flagship initiative of the Bloomberg Sagol Center for City Leadership. Twenty mayors from across Israel were selected to participate in the program, alongside 39 senior leaders nominated by the mayors to join them as leadership teams representing their municipalities in the Leadership Program. Participants represent cities, local councils, and regional councils reflecting the diversity of Israeli society across sectors and communities. Over the coming months, participants will engage in a rigorous leadership development journey aimed at enhancing self-efficacy, management and leadership skills, based on the understanding that local government is the most critical arena for improving citizens’ quality of life. The program brings together leading experts from Israel and around the world and fosters peer learning among participants. The opening session will take place in January 2026, in a formal gathering attended by mayor of cohort 3, alumni from previous cohorts and our partners.
