Having completed our first year of involvement in local authorities in the Negev and Galilee, we gathered our project managers for a moment of reflection and observation – about the past year, the challenges, achievements large and small, and the year that lies ahead.
The day conference consisted of three circles:
Me & the project
Aprocessing workshop led by group facilitator Aviv Agami, based on the podcast methodology. Participants divided into pairs and interviewed each other – for amoment of listening, sharing, and inner reflection.
Me & the municipality
Open talk with Dikla Katzoni, Strategy Director at the Eshkol Regional Council. Dikla shared her experiences in leading cross-departmental projects and harnessing participants to mutual collaboration,and offered tips on generating real impact in local government.
Me & the region
Amir Halevi, Chair of Spirit of the Galilee and former CEO of Israel's Ministry of Tourism, spoke about the powerof regional partnerships, test cases in the Negev and Galilee, tourism as anengine of regional growth, and sustainable economic development.
We chose to close the gathering with playback theater – taking a moment to unburden hardships, process emotions,empathize, and even laugh about shared challenges and experiences.
