One capability we are diligently working to cultivate within local authorities is the strength of learning and enhancing performance as an integral part of organizational culture. In pursuit of this goal, we have forged a partnership with the best - Israeli Air Force veterans, “The Squadron “ - to launch our Investigation and Performance Improvement track.
This is a paramount issue for any organization, and the events of October 7th provide another opportunity to scrutinize systems we presumed to be robust and assess their functionality during a crisis. It involves examining ingrained habits, meticulously crafted procedures, and, with a kind yet unbiased eye, determining if there is room for improvement in future situations.
We express our gratitude to Karmiel’s Mayor Moshe Kuninsky and Umm al-Fahm’s Mayor Dr. Samir Mahameed for affording us the chance to collaborate. Actively participating in teams dedicated to enhancing performance through personal accountability, we have witnessed leadership fostering a no-blame environment, acknowledging that mistakes are inherent for those daring to innovate.
The tools and professional connections established during this collaboration will continue to shape our efforts for the betterment of the city and its residents. While there are many ways to stand still, we firmly believe there is only one way to move forward.
